About me: from content to coaching

The first 20 years of my career were mainly spent in digital content, creating website copy, blogs, marketing emails and social posts. A highlight was creating and hosting a multi award-winning financial services podcast.
In 2022 when I was 40, I had some coaching and I remember so clearly my coach saying to me: "I think you’d make a good coach." Little did she know at the time the profound impact this would have on me. After months of researching what coaching involves and listening to countless coaching podcasts, I decided to take the plunge and I started training as a coach in January 2023.
I went on to gain my ILM Level 7 Diploma in Senior and Executive Coaching, which has hands down been the highlight of my career so far. Training as a coach has been transformational for me both personally and professionally and now I spend as much time as possible helping others around the age of 40 explore their Twenty Twenty shift.
Having been there myself, I know we sometimes need an understanding ear and a different perspective to open up doors we hadn't realised even existed. We spend so much of our lives working, I firmly believe we should make sure our careers are spent doing something we love. If I can do it, you can too.
